Personal / Private Hire Agreement
Last updated: 19/05/2026
Scope
This agreement applies to private, non-commercial hire of rebound shoes or related equipment. Private hire means use for personal, family, or household purposes only. Commercial use, paid classes, public events, group activities, corporate bookings, school bookings, instructor use, or any activity where participants are charged requires separate written approval and may be subject to commercial hire terms.
Hire Duration
The hire period is agreed at the time of booking. Standard hire is up to 3 days unless otherwise agreed. Extended hire must be requested in advance and may incur additional charges.
Delivery, Collection and Courier Hire
Local delivery or collection may be available within agreed areas. UK-wide courier hire may be available at additional cost. For courier hire, equipment may be dispatched before the hire period begins. You must be available to receive the equipment, inspect it on arrival, and return it on time using the agreed method. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers, but we will assist where reasonable.
Responsibility During Hire
You are fully responsible for the equipment for the entire hire period, from receipt or collection until returned and accepted by us. Equipment must be used only:
-
by the agreed hirer or approved users;
-
for private personal use;
-
on flat, clean, dry, suitable surfaces;
-
in safe environments free from hazards;
-
according to all safety and usage instructions.
Equipment must not be used in wet, muddy, abrasive, unsafe, or inappropriate conditions.
Condition of Equipment
All equipment is inspected and cleaned before hire. You must inspect the equipment on receipt and report any issue immediately. If no issue is reported before use, the equipment will be treated as received in good working condition. Equipment must be returned clean, complete, and in the same condition, allowing for fair wear and tear.
Deposits and Charges
A refundable deposit may be required. We may retain part or all of the deposit where equipment is returned late, damaged, incomplete, dirty beyond reasonable use, or not returned. Additional charges may apply up to the full replacement value of the equipment and any related losses. Deposits are normally refunded within 5 working days after inspection.
Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before dispatch, collection, or delivery may be refunded or rescheduled. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable but may be rescheduled at our discretion and subject to availability. Once equipment has been dispatched, delivered, collected, or made available for hire, refunds are not normally available unless we cancel or the equipment is faulty.
Health & Safety
Use of rebound shoes involves physical activity and carries inherent risk. You confirm that all users are physically fit to participate, have no condition that makes use unsafe, and will stop immediately if they experience pain, dizziness, discomfort, or feel unwell.
Minors
If equipment is used by anyone under 18, they must be supervised by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult at all times. The hirer accepts full responsibility for minors using the equipment.
Loss, Theft and Damage
You are liable for loss, theft, or damage beyond fair wear and tear during the hire period. You must not alter, repair, modify, remove branding, lend, sub-hire, sell, or commercially exploit the equipment.
Liability and Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from private use of hired equipment unless caused by our negligence or another liability that cannot legally be excluded. You agree to indemnify Bluma Jumps UK, Rebound Club Southend, instructors, assistants, representatives, and venue partners against claims, costs, losses, or damage arising from your misuse, unsafe use, undeclared commercial use, breach of these terms, or failure to supervise users.
