Events Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 19/05/2026
Scope
These Terms apply to events, workshops, masterclasses, festivals, parades, projects, fitness holidays, training days, and special sessions organised, promoted, or delivered by Bluma Jumps UK, Rebound Club Southend, or associated brands.
Tickets and Bookings
All event and workshop bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, tickets, deposits, passes, and event bookings are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your place to another person or another event, subject to approval and availability. Transfers are not guaranteed and may be refused, especially close to the event date or where eligibility, capacity, safety, or administration issues apply.
Deposits and Balances
Where an event is booked with a deposit, the deposit secures your place and is non-refundable unless we cancel the event and no suitable alternative is offered. Any remaining balance must be paid by the stated deadline. Failure to pay the balance may result in cancellation of your place without refund of the deposit.
Promotional Codes
Promotional codes must be used at checkout. We cannot apply discounts retrospectively after purchase.
Event Changes and Substitutions
Events may include multiple instructors, presenters, performers, trainers, sessions, or activities. By booking, you acknowledge that you are booking the event experience as a whole and not any specific named instructor, presenter, class slot, timetable, or activity. We may change presenters, instructors, venues, timetables, session content, or delivery format where necessary. Such changes do not automatically entitle you to a refund or partial refund, provided the event is still delivered in a substantially similar way.
Cancellation or Postponement by Us
We may cancel, postpone, relocate, or adapt an event due to circumstances including instructor illness, low attendance, venue issues, weather, transport disruption, safety concerns, government restrictions, or other circumstances outside our control. Where we cancel or postpone an event, we may offer a rescheduled date, alternative event, ticket credit, or refund depending on the circumstances. We are not responsible for personal expenses such as travel, accommodation, meals, childcare, visas, insurance, or other costs incurred in connection with an event.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including extreme weather, natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, transport disruption, pandemics, infectious disease outbreaks, government restrictions, venue closure, power failure, or other emergencies. Where possible, we will take reasonable steps to reschedule, relocate, adapt, or credit the affected booking.
Equipment Requirements
For events involving Kangoo Jumps® activity, genuine, original Kangoo Jumps® rebound shoes and compatible original components are recommended, unless we confirm otherwise in writing. Counterfeit, imitation, unsafe, altered, modified, or non-approved equipment may be refused. We reserve the right to refuse participation where equipment appears unsafe, unsuitable, damaged, incorrectly adjusted, or non-compliant.
Conduct and Safety
Participants must follow instructions from instructors, staff, venue personnel, safety stewards, and security. We may refuse entry or remove any participant who:
-
appears intoxicated or under the influence of drugs;
-
behaves aggressively, disruptively, or inappropriately;
-
fails to follow safety instructions;
-
uses unsafe or prohibited equipment;
-
causes risk to themselves or others;
-
damages property or equipment;
-
breaches these Terms.
No refund will be issued where refusal or removal is due to misconduct, unsafe behaviour, or breach of these Terms.
Prohibited Items
Prohibited items may include alcohol, illegal drugs, intoxicating substances, weapons, sharp objects, glass, fireworks, flares, smoke devices, hazardous materials, unauthorised sound systems, and any item considered unsafe by us or the venue. Certified assistance animals are permitted where appropriate and subject to venue rules.
Media, Photography and Promotion
Photography and filming may take place at events for documentation, safety, training, and promotional purposes. By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear in general event photography or video. Where practical, we will respect reasonable requests not to be featured prominently in marketing materials. For close-up promotional content, testimonials, interviews, or identifiable children’s content, we may request additional consent where appropriate. You must not use our event content, branding, photography, videos, or training materials for commercial purposes, competing events, misleading promotion, or brand misrepresentation without written permission.
Intellectual Property
All event materials, routines, training content, choreography, manuals, documents, graphics, branding, and media created by or for us remain our intellectual property or licensed content. You must not copy, reproduce, record, distribute, teach, sell, publish, or commercially exploit event materials without written permission.
Liability
Participation is subject to the Health & Fitness Waiver and Safety Guidelines. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to the above, we are not liable for indirect losses, personal expenses, loss of enjoyment, loss of opportunity, or travel/accommodation costs.
