Event & Commercial Hire Agreement
Last updated: 19/05/2026
Scope
These terms apply to event, group, school, college, university, corporate, festival, community, birthday party, commercial, instructor-led, or organised hire bookings.
They apply where equipment or services are used for a group, public activity, business purpose, paid activity, or event environment.
Booking & Payment
A booking is confirmed when a deposit or full payment is received and accepted. A minimum booking value of £150 applies unless otherwise agreed in writing. The remaining balance must be paid before or on the day of the event, as agreed. We may adjust pricing based on participant numbers, location, travel, staffing, equipment requirements, venue requirements, risk level, or event duration. We may refuse, cancel, or suspend bookings where payment terms are not met.
Event Requirements
The hirer or organiser must ensure the venue provides:
-
a flat, safe, clean, and suitable surface;
-
adequate space for participants and equipment;
-
suitable ceiling height and access;
-
safe parking and unloading access;
-
access to the activity area within a reasonable distance;
-
any required permissions, venue approvals, insurance, safeguarding arrangements, or risk assessments.
Where vehicle access is required, minimum access clearance must be confirmed in advance.
Setup and Safety Checks
Adequate setup time must be provided for equipment unloading, fitting, adjustment, safety checks, and participant briefing. We may delay, shorten, adapt, or refuse delivery of an activity if setup conditions are unsafe or insufficient.
Instructor Provision
Bookings may include equipment hire only, instructor-led sessions or both. We reserve the right to require a qualified instructor or assistant for group bookings, public events, school/university/corporate bookings, large groups, minors, or any booking where we consider supervision necessary. Where an instructor is provided, all participants must follow instructions at all times.
Responsibility and Supervision
The hirer is responsible for:
-
ensuring participants behave safely;
-
providing adequate supervision, especially for minors;
-
ensuring all participants receive safety information;
-
ensuring participants follow instructions;
-
managing spectators and non-participants;
-
providing any legally required safeguarding or venue supervision.
For equipment-only hire, the hirer accepts full responsibility for safe use and supervision.
Health and Safety
The hirer confirms that participants are physically able to take part and have no known medical condition preventing safe participation. Participants must stop immediately if they experience pain, dizziness, discomfort, shortness of breath, or feel unwell. We may refuse participation to anyone considered unsafe, unsuitable, intoxicated, disruptive, or unable to follow instructions.
Equipment Responsibility
The hirer is responsible for equipment during the booking period. Equipment must be used appropriately and returned in good condition. The hirer is liable for loss, theft, damage beyond fair wear and tear, missing parts, or misuse. Charges may apply up to full replacement value.
Weather & Outdoor Events
Outdoor sessions are subject to weather and surface conditions. We may modify, delay, postpone, relocate, shorten, or cancel sessions where safety may be compromised by rain, wind, wet surfaces, extreme temperatures, poor visibility, unsuitable ground, or other hazards.
Cancellation & Changes
Cancellations made 7 days or more before the event may have the deposit transferred to a new date, subject to availability. Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable. Changes to booking details are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Liability and Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bluma Jumps UK, Rebound Club Southend, its instructors, directors, assistants and representatives are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from unsafe venue conditions, participant behaviour, failure to follow instructions, inadequate supervision, undeclared medical conditions, or misuse of equipment. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded. The hirer agrees to indemnify Bluma Jumps UK, Rebound Club Southend, its instructors, directors, assistants and representatives against claims, costs, losses, or damage arising from the event, including third-party claims, where caused by the hirer’s breach of these terms, unsafe venue conditions, inadequate supervision, or participant misuse.
Media & Promotion
Photos and videos may be taken for promotional purposes unless the hirer requests otherwise in writing before the event. For events involving minors, schools, or safeguarding-sensitive environments, the hirer must ensure appropriate permissions are in place and communicate any restrictions before the event.
Branding & Reputation
Equipment, branding, and materials must not be altered, misused, copied, or presented in a way that may damage the reputation of Bluma Jumps UK, Rebound Club Southend, Kangoo Jumps®, or associated brands.
