Prerequisite for becoming a Rebound Instructor

Don’t have a qualification yet? No problem.
We offer a convenient Fast-Track Fitness Foundation Course - a 1-day (7-hour) training, usually scheduled the day before the Rebound Instructor Workshop. 
What the Course Covers:

  • Understanding music structure for group classes

  • Learning basic group fitness steps

  • Teaching methods and class structure techniques

  • Practical guidance for leading safe, engaging group fitness sessions

 

By completing this course, you'll meet the necessary prerequisites and gain the confidence to move forward with your Rebound Instructor certification.

To begin your journey as a certified Rebound Instructor, you must first hold a valid fitness qualification, such as:

  • Level 2 Aerobics / Exercise to Music

  • Group Fitness Instructor

  • Gym Instructor

  • Or a diploma in sports and/or physical education

 

These credentials ensure you have a solid foundation in fitness instruction, safety, and class management.

Rebound Instructor Training

​Becoming a certified Rebound Instructor is a rewarding step toward leading fun, high-energy, and low-impact fitness classes. Here's everything you need to know to get started:

Pre-Qualification Requirement

 

To participate in the Rebound Instructor Workshop, you must first hold a valid fitness qualification (read above).

 

🦘 Recommended Experience

 

While prior experience using rebound shoes is highly recommended, it is not essential. We have a special Rebound CORE program which is comprehensive, beginner-friendly course designed to equip you with the essential knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the world of rebound fitness.

 

📅 Workshop Format

The Rebound Instructor Training is a:

  • 2-3 day workshop (depending on your pre-qualification);

  • Workshops typically run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

  • We can arrange the workshop in a location more convenient for you (enquire below).

📝 Assessment & Certification

Participation does not guarantee licensing. You will be assessed throughout the training with the final practical exam at the end of the last training day. If you do not pass, you have up to 3 months to retake assessments.

  • Comfortable workout clothes + CALF length cotton socks.

  • Plenty of water and some snacks;

  • Notebook / paper and pen;
